Wedding Reflection

Can I just say that Tommy and Kellsie's wedding was nothing short of memorable. It was a blast and several moments made me really think.

Just a few reflections:

- Wow, two of my great friends are married. I knew it was coming, but boy did it hit me on their first dance. To think that God brought this relationship from early high school when I met Tommy to where it was last night was breath taking.

- The day was perfect, it seemed and nothing it could damper the spirits of the people involved.

- It' also a bittersweet realization that my friends and I are getting to that age where we are taking the next step, so to say. Gone are the days where we come over to each other's house on a snow day and eat junk food and play video games. I guess I never saw that coming. (Well, obviously the snow day stuff)

- It's in days like this that I step back and try to trace where God has been the past few years, and I always get emotional thinking about it. Because in the moment, it's very difficult to discern where God is at and how God is working. But one thing is for sure, I'm pretty excited about where God will meet me in the future.
