I have officially begun my junior year at Baylor. While I'm still trying to get a feel for what this year has in store... I have a few predictions and observations.
Last year I dedicated myself to the pursuit of God. I wanted to learn, experience and encounter God at all costs. From reading volumes of theology books to attending a wide variety of churches, I think I got a small taste. And when I think about something to set my heart on for this year, I run into problems. Because you can never really experience God to a point where you can check it off the list. Which leads me to...
RUF. Reformed University Fellowship. I will be spending most of my time outside of study with this group of people. Let the mind explosions begin. I can't say how much I have already learned and it's only been two weeks.
On a different note... I'm eagerly waiting the arrival of my basketball goggles. I'm tired of having my glasses break when playing so I got these nice over-the-lens protective goggles. It might be hard to distinguish me and Amare Stoudemire.
My grades are starting out like a Matt Holliday season... C+ But also like Holliday, by mid-term, I'll be hitting .300 + 25HR...
