Hey all. Thanks for reading. I know of some of you and I am very grateful. This year has a lot in store for the both of us. I promise to turn this blog to a pretty sweet press of my life. It's a work in process but hang in there.
Moving on. As a blogger, you must sign a contract saying you must debrief certain seasons of your life, summer being essential. So here is a few things that I have learned and few things I'm looking forward to...
We'll start off with some big news:
Expect a new blog soon. By Chris Prestemon and I. It will be pretty witty but loaded with insight.
This summer has been a let down, if I'm being honest. Don't get me wrong. The people I spent this summer with were awesome and everything I hoped for. Maybe I just had too big of expectations for the summer. It was my first summer coming back from Texas, after all.
I've learned a lot about myself. I'm learning to be really intentional about my community. I'm not in high school anymore and I don't need to have stupid popularity votes. I'm okay with having fewer relationships if it means depth.
I'm looking forward to school, obviously. Mainly, living with a really good guy, Ryan. I hope to honor him and support him this year. He's a great guy.
I'm going to miss my family more than I can imagine. It would be an understatement to say God has taught me about life through them. About grace, love and living with people. My parents are human, and that includes mess ups and blind spots. But wow, do they love me and I can't ask for much more than that.
Anyways... Thanks for reading... This year will be packed with a lot of fun and growth. And I hope you're reading as I go along the journey.
