This post has one purpose... I told you so.
For the past year or so... The world told me "John Locke is a joke." People who were pretty pro-Jack Shephard.... Claiming that Locke was a washed-up joke that worked at boxing company and therefore didn't know what he was talking about....
John Locke claimed:
- The survivors of the plane crash were brought to the island for a purpose
- The Island was indeed special and worthy to be protected
Jack was his biggest adversary throughout the first 5 seasons...
But as Jack came to his realization and changed his ways... He decided and stated that John Locke was right and was a noble man. Which led to Jack giving his life up to protect the Island.
"I wish you would have believed me" - Locke to Jack
And now Jack does.

I was going to comment that I never really cared.
Then I thought, no, I don't need to rain on anyone else's parade.
Then I changed my mind and decided to make my initial comment--I never watched it, and never cared about whatever the whole premise of the show was, nor how it ended.
So, the sound of weeping...isn't coming from me.
